If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it in its original condition within 30 days of the purchase date (14 days on certain items, see below*), and we'll give you a full refund. It's that simple. Just bring it back or ship it back to a Playground Music Center location, along with your receipt, manual and all original packaging for exchange or refund.**

Restrictions: Due to certain legal and health restrictions, computer software (copyright legislation mandates no returns on opened software), books, videos, CDs, harmonicas, internal earphones, earplugs, and microphones are exempt from this policy.  Cleaning products, vintage items, demo gear, opened strings, tubes and leased purchases are also exempt, as are any items special ordered from a manufacturer for a specific customer. Any other product exceptions will be noted on customer receipts at time of purchase. "All original packaging" includes cables, power adapters, manuals, blank warranty cards, etc..., as well as the actual packaging.

*There is a 14-day return period on the following items:
Recording devices – multitrack and mixdown, studio monitors, pro workstation keyboards, rackmount signal processors, and lighting effects.

**There is a 15% restocking fee on open-box returns.

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price/List Price ("MSRP") is the suggested retail selling price of a product provided to us by manufacturers. We may commonly sell products at prices lower than MSRP and, for any given product, no sales may have occurred at MSRP. MSRP is a benchmark to compare our discounts from MSRP to pricing offered by other retailers. Whether other retailers sell at MSRP will vary by product, geographic location, type of store, and over time. Although we periodically update the MSRPs posted in our stores, direct mail offerings and on our website as we receive them, in some cases manufacturers may change a suggested retail price without notice to us. Please contact the manufacturer of a specific product for the most up-to-date MSRP information. MSRPs quoted for house or private label brands are developed internally in consideration of comparable name brand products. We may commonly sell such products at prices lower than MSRP and, for any given product, no sales may have occurred at MSRP. Although our limited time events are intended to be limited time events, our low prices offered during these events may continue in effect after the event.


At Playground Music Center, we are committed to making the repair process as easy as possible for our customers. Playground Music Center does not own or operate an electronic instrument repair service center; however, we can refer you to a local independent repair service center. Sometimes, we will facilitate the transportation of equipment to one of these local independent repair service centers (or other manufacturer authorized repair or service center). In any case, Playground Music Center accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any customer owned merchandise no matter whether it was sent for repair or referred out by us, and furthermore, we do not, in any manner, guarantee any aspect of the work performed by an independent repair service center or other third party provider of repairs or service. Additionally, the customer is also fully responsible for all charges incurred, including but not limited to, freight to and from the repair service center, parts, labor, local tax, handling fee and surcharge/estimate fee (if any). Merchandise not picked up (and paid for) within 90 days after notification (using the contact information provided to us) of completed repairs will be sold by Playground Music Center for the cost of repairs.


Refunds for cash purchases over $20.00 will be made by check.


Playground Music Center regularly offers both vintage and special limited edition musical instruments to the public. Because the supply is extremely limited on these instruments and demand is often far beyond the supply, all deposits, credit on account and preorders of vintage and/or special edition musical instruments are still strictly subject to availability. The prepayment of a deposit does not guarantee that you have purchased or will receive the instrument; it merely establishes that you are on the priority list for that instrument, subject to availability. If you have placed a deposit, credit on account and/or preorder of one of these vintage and/or special limited edition musical instruments and we are not able to deliver the instrument to you due to its limited availability, we will offer you a full refund of your deposit.
